Manage Settings

Here you can select the general look and options of the help desk software support, such as how the articles will be displayed and how users will access them. When you are done, click Update.

Description

Allow users to rate answers:

This option determines whether users can rate the quality of answers

Show FAQ Section:

This option allows you to stop displaying the FAQ section

Sort FAQ based on the most viewed articles:

This option allows you to change the way articles are sorted to most viewed to least viewed.

Show Article ID:

This allows you to include the ID number of the article when it displays

Show Relevance in search results:

This option allows you to show the relevance of search results to the search query

Display most recently viewed articles:

This allows you to display a number of the most recently viewed articles in a list

Allow users to email articles:

If this option is checked users will have the option of emailing the article to others

Allow users to print articles:

This option allows users to click a print button to print out the article

Allow users to save articles:

This option allows users to save articles to their computer.

Show last modified date:

This option determines whether the last modified date is shown on the article

Allow users to get notified when articles change:

This option determines whether the user can signup for notifications that are sent out when articles change

Colors:

These options allow the admin to customize colors on the kbase

Display:

This is the number of columns that will display under each sub-category

Number of articles to display under categories:

Here you can set the number of articles displayed per category
