Omnistar Help Desk Software Requirements

Omnistar Live is available for you to download and install on your web server. If you do not have a server, then we have a hosted option where we will install the software on our secure servers and manage everything for you.

Install Version Requirements

If you decide to get our install version, then make sure your server has the following:

• Linux or Windows Web Hosting


• PHP AND MySQL


• Ioncube OR Zend
  (Our software is open source which means you have access to modify any of the code for your third party applications or if you want to add features. Don't worry if you are not sure if your server has Ioncube or Zend because these days almost all hosting companies have Ioncube or Zend installed by default and if they do not they can easily get this installed for you)

Hosted Version Requirements

If you decide to get our hosted version then we manage everything including:

• Maintaining the security of the servers hosting your help desk software


• Backing up your help desk software data daily


• Upgrading your help desk software
